    The surgery involves carefully shaving down the thyroid cartilage, which forms the Adam’s apple, to achieve a flatter, less prominent appearance. The goal is to create a natural and harmonious neck contour that aligns with the patient’s aesthetic goals.
    This will last around 90 minutes and include a short form filling exercise for your previous and current ocular and health conditions.
    Whilst the consultation is free most of our patients proceed to have a vested interest in proceeding with treatment and many report to have life changing outcomes.
    During the procedure, a small incision is made under the chin or along a natural neck crease to access and shave down the thyroid cartilage, reducing the prominence of the Adam’s apple. The surgery, performed under general or local anaesthesia with sedation, typically lasts 1-2 hours. Post-surgery, you’ll be monitored before going home the same day, with mild swelling and discomfort expected to subside within a few days. Following specific aftercare instructions and attending follow-up appointments will ensure optimal healing and results.
