Dr. Sheikh Sajid Ahmad is an energetic and enthusiastic surgeon with over 35 years of experience in both the NHS and private sector. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and Ireland, specialising in breast surgery. Dr. Ahmad has extensive expertise in both reconstructive and cosmetic breast procedures, having trained with internationally renowned specialists and completed the All Wales Oncoplastic Fellowship.

Dr. Sheikh Sajid Ahmad is a highly experienced and dedicated surgeon, known for his energetic and hardworking approach to patient care. With over 35 years of medical practice, Dr. Ahmad has honed his skills in both the NHS and private sectors, consistently producing optimum results for his patients.

In 1993, Dr. Ahmad became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Following this achievement, he spent three years at St. James’s University Hospital in Leeds, where he developed his expertise in breast surgery. During this time, he performed procedures for breast cancer patients as well as cosmetic surgeries, including breast augmentation and reduction.

Dr. Ahmad’s journey continued in Wales, where he worked at both the University of Wales Hospital, Cardiff, and Singleton University Hospital, Swansea. In Cardiff, he had the privilege of working with internationally renowned breast surgery specialist Professor Robert Mansel. In Swansea, Dr. Ahmad completed the All Wales Oncoplastic Fellowship in oncoplastic breast surgery, collaborating with plastic surgeons to further refine his reconstructive and cosmetic techniques.

Committed to continuous learning, Dr. Ahmad has participated in nearly 50 training courses and seminars in the UK and abroad. His dedication to enhancing his skills is evident in his ongoing participation in research, presentations, and writing papers. Dr. Ahmad has published work in prestigious journals such as the International Journal of Surgery, the Welsh Surgical Society, the European Journal of Surgical Oncology, and The Association for Cancer Surgery. His expertise has been shared through presentations around the world, including in Sri Lanka and South Africa.

Dr. Ahmad is also passionate about teaching and has been responsible for training senior registrars in aesthetic and oncoplastic breast surgery. He has also trained colleagues in Pedicle TRAM breast reconstruction, further contributing to the advancement of breast surgery techniques.
